LOTUS
Suddenly she was there: Lotus
She was born right in the sea
in a flower as she showed us
she felt pretty good and free
She heard a lovely music sound
while she was lying in the sun
A man was sitting on the ground
he played a golden harp for fun
Johan Onvlee was his name
he had left the ferry boat
a bit too early, bloody shame,
sand and water on his road
The boat delayed and Lotus stayed
Her wings were growing he could see
She was an ELF and Johan played
the Dorian Lotus Symphony
It started raining cats and dogs
A raindrop lead them to a place
of fairies, gnomes and birds and frogs
This was their first flight through the space
The night they spent there near a lake
They spoke about their dreams and lutes
Thus Hubblebubble had an heartache
and Lotus wants to find her roots
Next day they really found a lot
A honeybee foretold good life
and thanks tot Joost a boat they got
the three of them were done to strive
The boat could only go on music
so Johan played the golden harp
He sometimes told a limerick
and Lotus made her nails nice sharp
A whirlwind took the citer sound
and spread it over fields and sea,
mountains, valleys, rivers, ground
to feel the Dorian harmony
Hubblebubble was tom-tom
and suddenly he said excited:
“I see ruins and a palm”
The three of them were much delighted
The boat calmed down and made a stop
when Johan finished citer play
The ruin had a sign on top
the “Jewel in the Lotus”-way
There was a mystic atmosphere,
no entrance, so they walked around
“Hello hello, it’s Lotus here”
And then they fell right through the ground
They saw the greens, they smelled the flowers
and Lotus’ mother hugged, she cried
They had some very happy hours
her handsome father stood aside
They got a bath and Lotus cake
Her sisters showed the baby room
her flower went to Lotus Lake,
ready for a baby boom
Next period was really great
All elfs there learned an instrument
and Lotus self the citer played
She got a Dorian compliment
Hubblebubble found his love
Johan got a gift to keep
It was time to go above
he got a kiss and fell asleep
Next day he was at sea again
waiting for the ferry boat
He played the citer as a man
The water ebbed, the water flowed
A whirlwind took the citer sound
and spread it over fields and sea,
mountains, valleys, rivers, ground
to feel the Dorian harmony
